Peter Nathan has over 30 years experience coaching all levels of athletes and non-athletes. He holds a B.S. in Theoretical Linguistics from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Physical Education and Sport from New York University, and an M.Ed. in Applied Physiology from Columbia University.
He is a three-time CrossFit Games finalist in the Master’s Division. He is a two time gold medalist at the American, National, and the Pan-American Masters Weightlifting Championships. In 2014 he won the gold at the Masters World Weightlifting Championships. He holds certifications from USA Weightlifting and USA Powerlifting. He was certified as a Starting Strength coach in 2010, and is. Starting Strength Seminar staff coach.
