Alex Mitchell holds an ACSM certification and worked as a personal trainer for a few years before becoming a Starting Strength Coach in 2019. Alex has experienced personal success using the Starting Strength program and has witnessed his clients reach their goals. Alex’s mission is to help individuals live a stronger, healthier lives; no matter their age or gender. He specializes in working with Beginners and masters clients (those over 40)

Alex is patient, attentive, and passionate about what he does. He has a deep understanding of exercise physiology and uses his knowledge to explain the “whys and hows” of each movement he teaches. – former client

    Coach Alex is a very experienced and professional coach. I have had many gym memberships and personal trainers, but I didn’t experience results until after a few weeks with Coach Alex. I feel stronger, have more energy, and little by little I have been able to lift more weight. My doctor had recommended that I do strength training to slow the onset of osteoporosis and I didn’t think I would like it, but I look forward to every session with Coach Alex. He’s very motivating with positive comments and the personal training studio is very nice. It is not like a big box gym, it is very clean with lots of natural light. It is very private only 2 people are allowed into the studio at a time.
